Edward’s Stone is seeking a reliable and hands-on Field Superintendent to oversee daily construction activities across one or more active job sites. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company standards and timelines.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, takes ownership of their work, and can effectively coordinate between crews, project managers, and external partners to keep projects moving forward.
Position Objective
Oversee and manage daily job site operations to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and to Edward’s Stone quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure labor crews are fully equipped with necessary materials, tools, and information prior to and throughout each project
- Oversee daily job site operations, maintaining efficiency, quality, and adherence to timelines
- Document job site progress, including updates, milestones, and any issues that arise
- Communicate daily schedules, changes, and project updates with builders, general contractors, and property owners
- Coordinate closely with internal sales staff and project managers to ensure alignment across all phases of the project
- Enforce job site safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Identify and proactively address challenges to prevent delays or quality issues
- Foster strong working relationships with crews, subcontractors, and clients
Qualifications
- 2+ years of construction or field supervision experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced, on-site environment
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions in the field
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting 75–100 lbs and being on your feet for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
Schedule Expectations
- 50+ hours per week
- Primarily Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed
